What We Are Learning This Week

Reading: We are working on illustration and details in a story.

Grammar: We are discussing the proper use of pronouns and nouns

Writing: We are writing fictional stories about spring.

Math: We are working on addition and subtraction word problems.

Science: We are studying fossils.

Art: We are working on the art concept color.

Social Studies: We are learning about American Heroes.

Music: We are learning fun songs and working on rhythm and tempo.

ASL : We are working on building conversations

Spanish: We are reviewing numbers 1 - 100 and colors.

Welcome to Week 30 of school! I am so surprised at how quickly the year has passed!

Our theme this week is "Jellybeans!"

Upcoming Reminds:

-Spring break is April 9^th – 13^th. No school will be held this week. Enjoy the extra time with your students!

-Our next field trip will be Friday, April 27^th. We are going to the Hogle Zoo. This will be an all-day field trip which means we will be eating lunch at the zoo. If your student is going to need a school lunch, please let me know no later than Thursday April 19^th. Also, if you would like to come as a parent helper, please let me know. The cost for parents is $9.75 each which needs to be paid to the school before we go or can be paid at the gate when we get there. If you would like to join us, please let me know ASAP! J
