The Moon and Space

Science for the next few weeks we are studying the moon and space. This will culminate in a trip to the Clark
Planetarium on May 18th. One of the fun
activities we have planned for this unit includes keeping track of the moon
phases every night at home. The New Moon was this last Saturday so now is a
great time to start tracking the changes!
I have emailed a document that will help students keep track of the moon changes. This is not required
homework but it is a fun activity to do at home, and it will count as extra
credit towards your student's science grade. Don't stress if you miss a night,
you can always look up the moon calendar online. Here is a good site to visit if you miss a night and want to see what the moon looked like:
